Do you find the ‘yoga push-up’ Chaturanga challenging? Do you feel you don’t have enough strength to perform a Chaturanga? Are you unsure if you are doing the Chaturanga correctly?

Join Anita as she breaks down the mechanics of this essential pose to help you practice your Chaturanga in a safe and knowledgeable way. In this workshop Anita Goa will answer all these questions for you. She will teach you what muscles are involved in this yoga pose, how you can strengthen the muscles involved to increase your strength and she will also teach you how to perform the chaturanga with proper technique and alignment.

The workshop will be part lecture, exploration and practice. The intention is for you to leave the workshop feeling more knowledgeable and more equipped to practice chaturanga with proper technique to avoid injury.

Anita encourages you to bring a device that has a video camera (a smart phone, tablet or actual video camera/DSLR) for a specific exercise we will be doing (it’s all for your own personal use and education)

Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate the Sun (Surya)! It’s the perfect time to renew and honour the light within us and the important connection between the Sun and the Earth.In this workshop Anita Goa will take you through a Surya Flow practice to awaken the body and focus the mind.

The workshop will include a strong moving meditative yoga flow to stretch, strengthen and detoxify with inspiring story telling, ritual and a solstice ceremony.

In a light and fun way we will sweat our way to Samadhi; the goal of yoga and a state of total clarity of awareness. It’s Anita’s intention you leave feeling lighter, having experienced your own light of consciousness from tapping into your fullest potential.

Anita encourages you to bring something that has meaning to you that can be a part of the ceremony/ritual (i.e. picture, quote, piece of jewelry, flowers, crystal).
