Hello Dear Goa Flow-ers
I am very excited about this new series of monthly favourites.
As i explain in the video, this type of video is something i have resisted for a long time. I have this thing against doing what everyone else does; and also talking about “products” on video, even when i have bought it for myself and like it, is something i’m not used to; BUT i had a change of mind.
You can change your mind as much as you want, and need to. Don’t you agree? I hope so!
I always have to do what feels aligned with my intention, so no matter if every YouTuber under the sun is doing something that is popular, if it doesn’t feel right for me; i will not do it. I’m like this. So Monthly Favourites videos never felt aligned with me sharing information; until now.
So yes, we are allowed to change our mind. I’ve been inspired, and i share in the video a favourite person who inspired me [without knowing]. It can happen like that.
YEAH!! (… we shall see what the response is 🙂
If there is a theme for my favourites of this month it has to be: gaining a new perspective, broadening your mind/horizon, stay open-minded, decluttering and finding inspiration in things and people.
Hopefully it will inspire you and spark something in you. This list has sparked joy for me every day in May, and i know they will for months to come. Look at what you have in your life that makes a difference for you.

#5. Goa Granola // I call it Goa Granola because it’s my personal combination and also because it’s a cool name and rhymes (ha ha). For the most part in my cooking i’m all about spices but there are always exceptions; and my exception is my granola. I don’t like too many flavours going on in my granola, and i don’t like dried fruit in it. This is why it’s so great to make your own because you can put in whatever YOU like! You know the Goa Flow-er mantra: Follow your own flow.
What i like in my granola is: organic jumbo oats, my favourite nuts and seeds (usually hazelnuts, slices almond, pecans, shredded coconut, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds). I mix it all with coconut oil (melt it if condensed) and maple syrup. I never know the measurements because i just go by eye, but i I add enough to soak it all through and to add some sweetness. I also add sea salt to bring out all the natural flavours. Mix it all very well and bake on 165 degrees celsius (circa 330 degrees fahrenheit). Every 10 minutes or so stir the mixture so it doesn’t burn on the edges.
It will take 30-45 minutes to be done. Pay close attention toward the end so it doesn’t burn. I like mine medium brown.
