09 Jul 21 Day Challenge
i’m grateful every single day for yoga. even when i don’t practice it on the mat. it’s with me off the mat. but my life off the mat is much better when i practice my yoga on the mat. no doubt. i am reminded of that ever time i don’t practice my yoga on the mat. you too?
day 1 of the 21 day challenge started off with yoga and i was so happy to be challenged (by myself!) back onto my mat again. it’s been two weeks since last time. i’m not going to make excuses. but it has been a busy two weeks moving from Brooklyn to London. it has been stressful, but it would have made the move much better had i gotten myself on my yoga mat.
sadly, sometimes when i need my yoga on the mat for the off the mat life stuff i don’t get myself to the mat. i have to practice getting better at this; even if it’s only for 5-10 minutes, cause when i get back on the mat after two weeks i feel so rusty, so stiff and awful.
a little goes a long way. yes, i completely agree. i’m not going to beat myself up. it’s yet another reminder to strengthen a weakness.
